Barisamp

A complete guitar rig in one free app — amp, pedals, cabinets and neural amp captures.

v0.1.3 · Standalone app + VST3 + CLAP + AU · Free

The Barisamp window: a gold Marshall-style control panel above rows of pedals, effects, EQ and a spectrum analyzer

Everything between your guitar and the speaker

A real amp model

Two triode preamp stages and a power amp around the passive Fender/Marshall/Vox tone stack, computed from the circuit's component values. HIGH and LOW inputs like a JCM800.

Neural amp captures

Load any Neural Amp Modeler capture: WaveNet, LSTM and the new A2 format, matched sample for sample against the reference engine. Levels are normalized and models are resampled to any rate.

Ten drive pedals

Modeled on the circuits of the classics: Tube Screamer, Klon, Blues Driver, RAT, DS-1, Big Muff, DOD 250, Fuzz Face, Rangemaster and a clean boost.

Wah, pitch and swell

Pedal, auto and LFO wah. Octave down and up, Octavia, harmonizer and whammy. A Slow Gear style volume swell for bowed, violin-like notes.

Modulation

Chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, Uni-Vibe and a rotary speaker with its own horn and drum — before the amp or in its effects loop.

Delay and reverb

Analog, tape, digital, ping-pong, Echorec-style multi-head and reverse delays with tap tempo and sync. Room, hall, plate, spring and shimmer reverbs with freeze.

Cabinets

21 built-in impulse responses of a Marshall 1960AX with Greenbacks and a 4x12 with V30s, or load your own WAV files. Zero-latency convolution.

Quiet when you stop

A noise gate plus a learned 12-band noise suppressor that keeps hiss down even under a sustaining note — not just between them.

Tools

Chromatic tuner, 60-second looper with overdub, 8-band graphic EQ with a live spectrum analyzer, compressor, output limiter and presets.

Signal chain

Modulation can also go before the amp, like a pedal. Everything up to the cabinet is mono; modulation, the ping-pong delay and the reverbs make it stereo.
